School Starts Soon! How was your summer

I know our school starts August 12th. my kids have less than 2 weeks now. my older child is in 4th grade and then my older son starts pre k this year. Both are very excited!  

Any fun things happen for you this summer? We had a calm summer really. June consisted of softball and Tball. We also went to Arkansas for a friends wedding. My husband and I were both in that. July we did not do much. Had a ncie 4th of July and celebrated Kairis bday party that day also. Then we had a family reunion last wekend at the lake and we camped out for 2 nights. Was fun but got rained on the second night so we left early sudnay morning cause it was so muddy out there. Went swimming at m moms a few times. Other than that it was just planning for all the different things we did do.

Well my son's not in school yet, so summer is not a "break" for us like it will be in the future. I'm pregnant, so we didn't do much this year, so I could save my vacation and personal time. We did a couple of day trips, and we're planning on taking a vacation to visit my family while I'm maternity leave.

It looks like you guys had fun!

We've had a really busy summer. Just this month alone has consisted of two work picnics with my husband, a two day Air show, 4 days at the state fair (and we are going again today!), various trips to the zoo and playgrounds, a couple of bbq's with friends, and of course the fireworks on the Fourth.

Loved the update and the photos. My kids start the Tuesday after yours do. My son is entering 5th grade (lower middle school) and my daughter is going into 2nd grade - they are both super excited about it too!! Hope you are doing well.

Awesome summer pictures Tiffany. Time really flies by too fast.

Besides a short vacation to the keys and the birth of Emmett Shai, we have not done much. We have spent many days at the beach though, but fortunately we still have a month left of summer vacation.

Great photos, my summer was normal but my children were busy, well I was busy I guess too, I had to take them places, lol. My baby girl had camp for a week, learning technology, she went to VBS and she went to swimming lessons at the Aquatics. My oldest daughter was in Upward Bound for a month in a half, she went on plenty of activities and they went to New York City. My son just worked his summer.

School doesn't start around here until after Labor Day. Let's just say my summer was relatively uneventful. I didn't do much or go anywhere, but I did have a few days of enjoyment at least.

Great bunch of pix. No kids. So no school. But I can tell you I am looking very forward to this area 2 weeks from now when the crowds start dying down and the beach enters "the off season." It's the BEST time to be here.

You've had a fun and busy summer! School doesn't start here until September 7th or 8th! Hmmm, it's the day after Labor Day that school starts here! I'm going to have a 3rd grader and a Kindergartner!

I did very little this summer. I mostly worked and surfed the Internet.

I'm obstinate on getting myself out of debt.
Getting by with this old, SLOW computer is somewhat frustrating.

That's alot of summer fun. Great photos. My youngest will finish her senior year hopefully this august, then I am done with school. Yippee.

I didnt do a darn thing this summer,, oh well life goes on,,
my gkids are in a wedding this weekend, wow highlight there....
