Funny 3 year old grand daughter story.

Today, I took three of my grandchildren to the mall.  My daughter forgot the stroller and two of them are twins,  8 months old. 

We had to rent two strollers, and with all the confusion I got the elevator doors stuck and hit one of the babies in his arm because it was hanging out and I'm stupid.  I started to cry, but he was fine. 

Anyway, my three year old grand daughter goes up to people and says, "My Mimi tried to break my brother's arm."

Oh GEEZ!!! And I hope you were standing by with an explanation, so an over-reacting witness didn't take that the wrong way. There are some real nut-cases out there, but I totally understand where YOU were coming from. Everyone makes mistakes, and I see you're laughing already. That's good!

I screamed louder than her little mouth, but all I could see was itty arm in a cast and thinking that I did it, but little did I know my grand daughter would be my judge.

LOL! Today my husband was joking and said he was getting old and falling apart. My three year old looked confused, looked him up and down, then looked on the floor before responding "You are not falling apart" and then almost cried!

We had a problem many years ago with our fuse box and had to replace it with circuit breakers. We wound up the night it blew with the ability to only have one light on. My 8 years old son at the time went to school and told the teacher our electricity was turned off because we didn't pay the bill. ??????

Got to love the innocence of children, most of the time I wish my Grandkids were at those ages again, then they grow up...so many times I thought through the years I wish I had kept notes and written down there sweet comments...most are lost in my mind now..
