Vibrant January Colors

The beauty is surrounding us in South Florida at the moment, as all of our tropical plants and flowers are trying to recover after the cold streak earlier in the month. These photos are from our Wednesday walk, but I was not able to post them at the time due to Internet issues.

This last one is one of the morning glories from Tory's seeds. It has found a very comfortable spot in between my tomatoes.

It really feels like spring in South Florida, and the best part about January is that we the garden is growing fast. Last night we had a delicious salad with homegrown lettuce and tomatoes.

Lovely! I particularly like that shade of purple in the second photo!

My favorite part of January? Nothing. January always brings the coldest temperatures and the most snow! Ok...the end of the month, since it brings me one month closer to spring! *sigh* Can you tell I'm sick of this weather?
