Did Al and Tipper Gore’s spilt last week cause their oldest daughter Karenna Gore Schiff to separate from husband Andrew ‘Drew’ Schiff? The couple has been married for 12 years.
According to a friend, the couple has been separated for a few months and has been in marriage counseling. The Schiff’s have three young children who are Wyatt, 10; Anna, 8; and Oscar, 3.
Following in her parent’s footsteps, Karenna Gore Schiff has no plans to comment on her separation. Drew is a medical doctor who works for Aisling Capital, and Karenna is training to be a lawyer as well as working on a documentary featuring history’s inspirational women.
Although her parent’s have separated, both Al and Tipper Gore have been there to help their daughter Karenna with the kids since her separation. There are even reports of former Vice President Gore wearing his wedding ring in the Philippines. Gore made no comment.
Do you think that there is a chance that a parent’s separation could lead to the separation of their children as well? I do think that children of divorce are sometimes also more likely to divorce from research I have read. Who knows? It may have just been a coincidence that the two separations happened at the same time. What do you think?
