June 16, 2010 - Earlier this morning around 7:30am ET, New Jersey State Trooper, Scott Graham was found dead from a gun shot wound. Graham was discovered inside his patrol car which was parked off of the Garden State Parkway in Wall Township. VIDEO below; SEE PHOTOS HERE.
Later today, the Middlesex County medical examiner's office ruled Graham's death a suicide. Graham, 35, had been a member of the New Jersey State Police for the past 10 years and as of yet there is no explanation for the suicide.
State Police superintendent, Col. Joseph R. Fuentes said, "The tragic death of Trooper Graham today deepens the wound that the New Jersey State Police family suffered from the recent death of Trooper Castellano. We are again offering our support to another family coping with a tragic end to a loved one's life." Trooper Castellano died on June 6 after being struck by a car.
Although there is no reason given, suicide is a tragic event which effect every member of your family : from the spouse, to the children, to none family members such as friends and even acquaintances. It is especially sad because New Jersey State Trooper, Scott Graham was a member of law enforcement and hopefully had access to better mental health care professionals than the rest of the population.
He also presumably was suppose to be able to assess his own mental state better also but unfortunately that was not the case with Scott Graham...
