Two nights without melatonin and Elijah stayed up from 2am till 11am this morning. He refused it Tuesday night and then woke up at 7 yesterday. Went to sleep at 8pm last night and woke at 2. He doesn't sleep but abuot 6 hours at a time on his own. With the melatonin he sleeps from around 11pm till about 8:30.
He is so much more pleasant when he sleeps right. Even if I have to force it or trick him we are going to have to do this.

If your son can't swallow pills, health food stores sell it in spray and drops. Usually 3mg is good for children. This is according to Elijah's ped. Some adults need as much as 9mg.
So far 1mg works for Elijah
People who live in near the poles often take this too, as the body releases melatonin in relation to amounts of sunlight.
