ToysRUs and Elijah

I seriously think ToysRUs will ban us if we have another incident in the store (dirt bike incident just last week).  Tonight we had another scare - and probably a year taken off my life LOL

Elijah went to the vidoes because he saw Wuzzbees (I think that is how it is spelled). He went to another shelf and started looking. He stuck his finger in a hole in the shelf and got it hung. He totaly freaked out. He wouldn't let me touch him. He was pulling back, jumping, screaming hysterically.  The  more he fought, the worse the finger was pulled.

I tried to get him to calm down, but it only made it worse. I couldn't hold him as I only have 1 arm that is working right now (right shoulder is still frozen). I squatted down to him and he hit me (shoved me) so hard it knocked me to my butt. I could get 1 arm around him to hold him, but couldn't lift my right arm to try to get his finger out.

It semed like forever before my dad came over. He was looking in the opposite side of the store (even searching in the warehouse area - his hearing loss makes things sound like they are coming from another place).  My mom thought I was trying to get Elijah to leave and he was fighting back (sometimes does this - hasn't in a while though)

He was screaming 'go away momma, leave me alone"'.... amdist the screaming bloody murder . He was trembling so bad. Finally a lady came over and I told her to get help. 3 associates came over - but my parents finally got there. My mom thought they were going to have to cut the shelf, papa finally got his finger out. It was more of an ordeal to hold Elijah still. His finger is slighly cut, bled a little.  One of the associates got a bandaid for him and he let her put it on.  He was still shaking so bad.  Every time he looked down at his finger he would freak out again.

But that still didn't teach him a lesson. At Sam's he was sticking another finger in a shelf hole. When I got on to him about it saying 'remember what just happened at ToysRUs? he said, 'yeah, but this is my pinky.'

He is a daredevil right now. He has poked his finger in so many things recently it is unreal. It is to the point now that I am considering keeping a tube of vaseline in my purse! In the past week he has gotten his finger stuck in the connection of a wood train track, a bubble wand hole, vent slit, tied kite string around his finger and cut off the circulation, oh and the tape deck in the car.  At the dr's he stuck his finger in some kind of hole in the floor (I was in getting xrays when this happened), grandma was in there with him. 

He is 100% boy.  Exploring everything he can and getting into as much trouble as he can LOL.
