It looks as if it is going to be a blisteringly hot day today, so I thought that I would take a tray of water out to the birds, just in case they were thirsty! It took them all of 5 minutes to find the water! That certainly surprised my daughter!

If you have a spot where you can sit out some water, I think your feathered friends just might give you a smile of thanks today ;)

as I am getting older I want to try new things like growing plants, flowers, a garden, having bird feeders, and bird baths, with a butterfly sticks .

I asked the same question and the lady on here of course said it was a stick painted all different colors her is in color block form and the butterflies seem to love it you plant it in your garden. It is from Redbird you can see hers here Butterfly stick

lol I'll recommend that to my mom. She loves sitting on her portch and watching the birds. She even has hummingbird feeders and she watches them come up and get the red liquid

It's supposed to be near 90 today, but it's raining and that's keeping it moderately cool. So far, anyway...

I have a birdbath in my flower bed outside my window. I get to enjoy watching them, they get a bath, and my flowers get whatever they splash out!

It's very warm here, but the birds have no need for drinking fountains. We are surrounded by fresh water canals.

Not a bad idea to leave out some water with the weather being so hot and humid lately. We keep having rain off and on, so ours are good for now :)
