What kind of car did you own?

Do you remember your first car? I know this may age you a bit, but I'll tell. I had a light blue '69 Volkswagon bug. I loved that car. It had a stick shift, and would plow through snow.

My husband had an old 56 Ford wagon. Then we moved up to a 66 Mustang. What kind of car did you have?

My first was a 67 malibu that was stolen before i got to drive it. Not sure, but think Step Dad sold it. The first I drove was a 1970 Plymouth dyster. I have yet to restore an old car, but here are pics of the car I am restoring for my daughter, if you want to see them, I have over 500 hours into it now. When I was in high school, I had the use of my Grandma's 1964 Ford Custom - pale yellow, it was a fun and very FAST car. The first car I bought was a royal blue 1972 Ford Pinto.....had it until they figured out it would blow up on impact due to the gas tank being in a bad place!

My first car was a 1972 El Camino. Right now in addition to our daily drivers we have a 1958 Chevy Bel Air Sport coupe.

My first car was a Mazda GLC. I din't have much choice about that at all. It was junk. GLC was supposed to stand for good little car but it was everything but that. I also upgraded and now drive a Mustang GT.

it was a Plymouth and that's all I remember...not the year or make or anything except that one night the gas pedal got stuck down while I was driving on Main Street. When I hit 60 mph it hit me to put the car in neutral, that did stop me for sure.....the drive shaft broke in half. I was upset...it was my 16th birthday so I was finally legal to drive on my own.

I shared a chevy impala with my ex. But even though I paid half of it... he kept it. I had to save up for a while to get my own car... so the first car I owned on my own was a station wagon. I liked a station wagon... because with kids it was great to have something to carry their stuff around in. I found out I was pregnant with my second child while we had our first separation.

1967 Pontiac Parisienne 2 door-only cost me $450!! Gas was only 70 cents a gallon too.
