Winter is coming!

Do you like winter? I do if everyone is safely at home, but when I know someone I love is going to be on the road, I get really nervous. Do you enjoy this upcoming season? With the holidays just around the corner and my family growing, I always get concerned for their safety.

My favorite thing about winter is the smell of baked goods and a roaring fire in the fireplace, but it is depressing to see the pool turn green with algae and my lovely dwarfed maple drop her lace leaves.

One more winter thought: don't kids smell good after playing in outside in the winter?

you had me going with the winter things until you said the kids smell good after playing in the snow which they don't they smell like wet dog which I think it smells like after it rains too

I love the upcoming winter holidays but I do not like winter. I hate having to bundle up in bulky clothing and feeling cold.

I like Christmas and the preparations. I like the holiday get togethers I hate the snow storms and extreme cold. the look of snow on the trees is nice but i do not like the long days of darkness and am happy when spring comes.

I love winter and I don't worry any more then about family on the road then I do any other time. There seems to be more drunks on the road in summer and more animals. We've had a couple of blizzards at Christmas and everyone ended up spending the night.

winter is my favorite....
love the snow, and we still havent turn on our heat.. I am sitting front of my spaceheater/fireplace,, love it..

I like mild temperatures... so winter or mid-summer are not my favorite times.

I prefer spring. Never really liked winter much. Can't stand the cold. With my asthma, it's a pain!

I'm not a fan of winter simply because of the cold. I do love to see the snow and things winter brings, but it'd be better without the cold.
