Cool Gifts for Ten Dollars or less - Photo Gifts

This Friday's edition is extra special since it includes a free gift, a digital art image, that you may use for creating your own gifts. We'll explore the on-line gift shop of my favorite charity, Big Cat Rescue in Tampa, FL and for the true photo enthusiast there are free instructions for making your own photo cube calendar.

Let's think beyond the standard family photo albums which only end up living on the shelf, collecting dust and instead, have a look at

One of my favorite charities is the Big Cat Sanctuary in Tampa, Florida which happens to have the most beautiful tiger and lion and bobcat images, imprinted on everything from mouse pads to coasters and apparel .....

COASTERS - practical and beautiful - only $5 each

Before you say, but I need a set of four or six coasters,

let me tell you that I have the one up top on the left, his name is Freckles and

I have his picture on the mouse pad too - which was just under ten bucks. 

Together they make the perfect set for my computer desk and I do use them daily.

My kitty approves too:)

I can think of a couple of kids who'd love that poster in their room:)

 

TIP: How about checking out the gift shops at your local BOTANICAL GARDEN for BUTTERFLIES OR FROGS OR TURTLES OR SUNFLOWERS or the BIRD SANCTUARY for amazing AMERICAN BALD EAGLE or just plain old, but beautiful RED CARDINAL images.

Have them put your favorite photo of

the dog - the kids -your vacation

IDEAS:

Whether you print it on one of those photo canvas sheets that come in a package like printer paper and then iron on to your T-shirt or re-cyclable cotton shopping bags (Office Supply stores carry them) - the possibilities are endless - so have fun with it!

More ideas: Have your local photo store print it on whatever strikes your fancy, from mugs to T -shirts or use it to create a handmade journal cover - shellac the picture on a treasure box - use it as a screen saver or print it on card stock if you or a friend or family member are involved in your local breast cancer charity activities.
