This month of November has been trying for my family and myself. I had surgery at the end of October, so I have been working on healing from that. Then, I had painters come in and paint the kitchen and living room. They said they would send a crew of three men and knock it out in one day.
They were to come on Friday, but they couldn't get a crew together. Then, Monday, one guy shows up and says he'll be done by Thursday or Friday. Then, I had shutters put up in my large kitchen windows. The guy said he'd knock that out in an hour or two. He was there from 9 to 7. I thought I'd die.
Okay, all was done. So my husband went into the attack to rewire the television, and a flashlight fell through the newly painted ceiling making a hole. He patched that. So the next day, I wanted to get out of the chaotic mess that was my home. So my daughter and I went out to lunch. She parked the SUV, and dropped me off at the door with one of the kids. Just as I stepped out with one foot, some guy decided he didn't want to wait, so he blasted the horn.
My daughter reacted by pulling the car forward leaving me hanging half in and half out of the car. The result is I have a bleeding muscle in upper thigh and can't walk. I am still recovering from surgery, so it is time to go rest. The problem is I can't sleep for the pain I am in.
How's your November?
