I had asked what I should do in a situation where my family is no longer speaking to me, but one of my cousins wanted to "friend" me on facebook.
My family doesn't know about my current marital status, etc., and I don't want them to find out. But before you judge me, it's for the protection of my husband & daughter. Long story, I don't really want to go into it.
At any rate, I decided at the advice of someone here on gather, and my own thought process, to send messages to my cousin without friending her. (Thanks to everybody who commented on that post.)
So I found out that I'm not the only one in the family who is having more kids.
My 2nd cousin (who is sadly only about 17 or 18 years old) had her baby the day after Thanksgiving, which was was only 6 days after I had my baby.
And her father (my 1st cousin) and his 2nd wife are expecting a baby in May.
So strangely, my 1st cousin's grandbaby will be older than his baby. Weird!
And the cousin who has been writing to me got married to the guy she had been dating for a few years.
Nobody tells me anything!
It's so weird. This cousin hardly spoke to me at family get-togethers, but now she's telling me everybody's business... which is why I'm telling her as little about me as possible. :)
