They say that a baby can sleep in his/her bassinette until he/she reaches 15 pounds or is able to push up on their hands (I think that's right on the second one).
Our baby only weighs 7 or 8 pounds... but she's getting so tall that it's difficult to get her out of the bassinette without her head bumping the top. It's okay; the top is soft & doesn't hurt her, but it's inconvenient.
So tonight, we introduced her to her crib. We put her into it when she was awake & let her look around the crib & check out her surroundings, let her lie down in it, and let her see how much room she had. She seemed happy! :) She stretched out in it & took up as much space as she possibly could. It was really cute!
So at bedtime, we put her into her crib & she's still asleep! Aw! :)
