August
was a busy month for me. August 1st -3rd my husband and son in law fell a dangerous snag that was right behind our house and cut it up for firewood. My husband had to be careful though as he has hurt his shoulder and it was all taped up. So son in law helped us with it a lot. Also had grandkids here helping to move wood and clean up.
August 11th was my 63rd birthday and we spent it with family at one of our favorite parks and rested, relaxed studied the bible some since was also Sabbath and swam in the creek and had a good picnic lunch.
We had not been there since my 60th birthday which was a week before
our little man Gerrin died. We are all still sad from that but doing better.
The 18th a niece came in with four very small children from Tennessee she had been homeless, she stayed with us for 3 weeks and now has a place to live, her two oldest in school and she has a phone and address and is looking for work. Her sister also came and is also looking for housing, work and getting her self in better shape
We will be getting her 7 year old son in about 3 and half months taking custody of him as he is in foster care as his mom has some medical issues and
a recovering alcoholic but she is going to AA and trying to turn
her life around and one thing was to move away from caustic so called friends. Now both women are out here where they have family to help them.
The 19th was Gerrins memorial when we lost him and we sent up a lot of helium balloons they went way way up. We do this every year now on the day he died and on his birthday. Time heals but you never forget and the sadness stays but it is easier.

- I also went to
- a women's seminar and shopping sale
- and made contacts to launch "Heaven's Children"
- for a support group to help other families who lost small young children. Getting a lot of help to get it started along with our Ekklesia Church of God fellowship and getting a building donated for meetings for both. Wow.
During that time we also cleaned up a lot of our place, had a yard sale, hauled off a lot of junk and things or gave it away and crossed off most of our to do list for the summer. We started with 43 and are down to 8 left to do. I have 6 children's stories ready to publish as soon as I get the art work done on them and waiting on that from my artistic granddaughters. Might be a couple months yet.
We also sold a lot of items on craigslist and listed our property for sale there. We decided to sell ourselves since the last two years the realtors did nothing to help sell not one showing or open house and even outright told one guy a lie that there was no house our way for sale only raw land. So we listed and have a very interested buyer who can pay cash arriving next week to look it over. He is an ocean liner captain who is
retiring and his children all live in the area here and he lives down near Portland Oregon.
So PRAY
THEY LIKE IT AND DECIDES to buy it . It would sure be awesome to move off this mountain near our daughter and Yes we have at least three possible we are interested in buying still on the market. We could be moving in about 6-8 weeks I hope.
From the 14th to the 21 we checked in on our younger sons cat Ruppurrt and loved him, fed him and made sure he had water. Picked their tomatoes they said we could have that were ripe, Nothing like sun warned home grown ripe tomatoes, YUM!!
And with all that going on we were also preparing and helping our son Daniel with his wedding. Daniel D. zerocapacity He got married August 31st, Which was the second full moon of the month of August known also as a Blue Moon. Their theme
was "Once in a Blue Moon" My husband a pastor officiated at the wedding. We then went to a camp ground they had reserved for the weekend and had the wedding reception and it was a good time by all.
Our lives are definitely changing and for the better I am
pretty sure.
